KIDS MINISTRY
Imagine your kids with a grounded and authentic faith in Jesus
Coggin Kids partners with parents to make growing disciples of Jesus
Does the world make you feel like an inadequate parent?
Of course, it does. Social media, cultural changes, busy schedules, and academic and athletic pressure can get in the way of preparing them to be confident in who God made them to be and what He has called them to do.

YOUR FIRST VISIT
When you’re facing our building (the one with the steeple), you’ll want to find the east entrance on the right side. There’s a large welcome sign and it’s next to the playground. When you enter those doors, please visit the preschool area inside the glassed area on your right. They can help get your little ones checked in and help you find age-appropriate classrooms for older children.
HOW CHECK-IN WORKS
Before the service:
You can check-in your child at the preschool counter inside the nursery. Older children can be checked in upstairs. After finding your child’s name in the database, you and your child will be given matching name tags that are exclusive to your family. Your child will wear the name tag portion, and the corresponding tag will be given to you.
After Service:
During the Service:
In the event that we need to contact you during the service, we will send you a text message. If you receive a text, simply return to the Information Desk where you checked in your child.
If you’d like to speed this process up a bit, you can click the button below!

KIDS CONNECT
- PRE-K-2ND GRADE
- DURING 11:00AM SUNDAY SERVICE
- UPSTAIRS CHILDREN’S WING MAIN BUILDING
Kids Connect is our children’s worship service! Our goal is to provide a setting where kids can connect with Christ, the church, and one another! Using HYFI curriculum from Lifeway. We teach kids that who they are is grounded in Christ, focusing on topics like “I am known, I am broken, I am forgiven, I am loved, I am secure, I am meant to know God, I am made for community, I am here to share Jesus.”
We use stand-alone lessons to allow for inconsistent attendance, with heavy emphasis on relationship building to prompt a sense of belonging and connection. Media rich games and video clips engage kids and reinforce learning. Most importantly, the Gospel is presented every week.
Families choosing to attend worship together will have praise pack bags available during all church services. The bags, found at all sanctuary entrances, are filled with Christ-centered activities for kids to use during church services.
NURSERY / BABIES -3 YEAR OLDS
- AVAILABLE DURING ALL 3 SERVICES
- DOWNSTAIRS MAIN BUILDING (ACROSS FROM THE CONNECTION CAFE)
Gentle songs, prayers, and simple stories to create a loving and safe environment where babies can begin to experience the presence of God.

PreK-6th grade Sunday School
- 9:45AM
- UPSTAIRS CHILDREN’S WING MAIN BUILDING
Sunday School is an opportunity for kids to learn about the Bible on their level. We seek to make every week interactive, memorable, and impactful for each child. We start out all together for large group activity and worship and then dismiss them by grades to their classrooms where they dive deeper into the each weeks Bible lesson.
PreK and Kindergarten
Foundational Faith Building
Interactive lessons that delve deeper into Bible stories, focusing on creation, salvation, and God’s plan for the world, with activities to reinforce learning.

1st-5th Grade
Growing in Faith
Comprehensive programs that cover a wide range of topics including the Church, community, and living a Christ-centered life. Lessons are designed to encourage children to study God’s Word and apply it in their daily lives.
Team Ion
- 5TH & 6TH GRADE (SELECT GROUP OF LEADERS BY APPLICATION PROCESS)
- WEDNESDAYS 6:00PM-7:30PM
- MAIN BUILDING
Designed to help unleash the leadership potential of preteens. The goal is to help preteens become ‘positively charged’ to reach the world around them for Christ, and to learn to have their ‘eye-on’ those around them to find ways to serve and lead well.
Each week, they will have a team building activity, a leadership lesson, skill training, and a challenge with reflection or process time. We’ll take a different topic each month, talking about topics like hospitality, holiness, humility, thankfulness, prayerfulness, representing Christ, faith in God, respect for authority, and sharing God’s love.
If your son or daughter is interested in being apart of Team Ion, fill out the application form and give it or email it to Amy Brand.
