Reflect
God’s
Glory
God is the God of order, intention, and beauty. He does all things with excellence and care. One of the ways we reflect God’s glory is by keeping and caring for spaces He has provided for us. We think by addressing specific, targeted areas within our main building, we can accomplish this with excellence without unnecessary excess.
Reflect
Our
Identity
Coggin has a strong culture of being welcoming and friendly, however, our building does not always help us facilitate the identity of hospitality that we believe we have. Our desire is that our building would reflect who we are in practice—a people who love each other and want to be together.
Reflect
Our
Vision
Life is full of difficult questions and it takes a tremendous amount of wisdom for each of us to live God-honoring lives. We want to help individuals and families learn God’s truth in a supportive community that pursues a full life in Jesus. Executing that mission means a reconfiguration of our current space. Where there now stands small adjoining rooms, our hope would be to convert these smaller spaces into larger multi-purpose spaces that would help us live into our mission more effectively.
Reflect
What We
Honor
Find any healthy church and you’ll likely notice that there is a strong population of senior adults—those who have walked with Jesus faithfully and served their church family willingly. Secondly, you’ll notice children. The cries of a new born baby are not a distraction in the church, but signs of life and God’s favor on a congregation. Coggin thankfully has both of these groups and we want to honor them well. That is why over half of this project will go to serve these two groups by addressing various security, health, and safety concerns.
